Hi, I'm Amanda, an athlete with kienbock's
(I don't like saying kienbock's disease, the term doesn't feel right)
Welcome to my ongoing story of lifting, training, competing, working, and living while my right (dominant hand) lunate bone deteriorates and I figure out work-arounds. Maybe you're here because you've been diagnosed with kienbock's, maybe someone you're close to has. I'm happy you're here. This condition is incredibly rare, and brings boatloads of uncertainty and pain, which can be so so isolating. You are not alone.
and seriously, totally open to the jacket thing
